1 medium size cucumber, sliced thin
1 small red onion, sliced thin
1/2 C. white vinegar
1 1/2 T. sugar
pinch of salt and pepper
pinch of dill (optional) I usually add this but I couldn't find mine today.
Combine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. In a medium size glass bowl add in the cucumbers and onions. Toss with the vinegar mixture and sprinkle with a little dill (if using). Place in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
Note: I use a glass bowl simply because I am just not a fan of plastic bowls.
